guava + hinoki

some scents, i just can't do. for a decade guava always fell in that category. but i am competitive and a little annoying. so while i had this scent sample for months, i kept thinking...i bet i can make a non-fruity guava candle. and thus, guava + hinoki was born.  bright, tart-guava top notes lead into a resinous wood base. the goal was for this to have more of an architectural lift and a soft citrus finish. personally, i think we hit on those fronts.
